The project in Myanmar for Shangri La entertainment complex was a real challenge for our team. Between 2019 and 2022, the construction and opening of the venue was realized in an extremely inaccessible area, literally in the middle of the jungle, where there was no infrastructure or manpower.
The project was based on sketches and concept from the architectural firm SOSH, which required precise adaptation and improvisation on site. The construction covered an area of about 10 hectares and involved many engineering challenges. Against all odds, the complex was successfully built and commissioned, becoming a symbol of engineering excellence and architectural innovation.
